Morgan starred in an informational clip Safe Sex for Men and Women on AIDS education and prevention. Proceeds from the video was donated to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. Morgan is a member of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan was the driving force behind many fund-raising campaigns for the spread of the disease. She also spoke before a Congressional special committee on AIDS education. Morgan is member of the board of Governors of APLA and Board of Directors of Amfar. C. Everett Koop's former assistant surgeon general asked her occasionally to substitute for him at AIDS awareness events. She also was the host of a AIDS Awareness Special hosted by Steve Bell. Ted Koppell interviewed Morgan twice on Nightline on AIDS. Morgan is nominated as an Emmy award winner in Diane English's Murphy Brown Special Episode written especially for Morgan. In the spring, she appeared with Joan Rivers on ABC's Your Money or Your Wife. Summer began by Murder At The PTA Luncheon. The show, Von Zerneck/Sertner also included Cindy Williams and Marla Gabbs. Her next project brought Morgan to Luxembourg and she was a part of the cast as Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady in the production of Harmony Gold. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee were also featured. Morgan was also in the psycho thriller made by USA Network. The film received one of the highest ratings ever.
