Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley one of the most well-known and wealthy Reggae singers was born on February 26, 1976 in Falmouth Jamaica. He sang in Shottas along with another artist Wyclef. Ky-Mani was signed to Shang Records for his 1996 debut Like Father Like Son album and singles like Judge Not (with Patra), Dear Dad", (which was the most popular song on the British reggae chart) and Who The Cap (remix), Sensimelia and many more contributed to the rising recognition for his new generation reggae music. Ky-Mani teamed up with Praswell from Fugees in the song Avenue in 1997. The song proved to be a massively popular cover of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley performed at the Midem show (an international showcase of music) and was first held in Miami. Marley played a live set at the Cameo Theatre, which was broadcast by the Caribbean News Agency across 36 countries. Marley's name was soon the focus of a bid war.
